Depending on the type of job, illicit drug use can impact job performance and the lives of other people. Drug use can also affect workplace concentration and judgment and, if illegal drugs are involved, could put the employer at risk.

Rothrock Payroll Services works with drug testing centers in all cities nationwide. The testing centers do not accept payment and no appointment is needed. Before arriving for a drug screen, the person being screened works with their current or prospective employer and completes an online registration from Rothrock Payroll.

Two of the most common drug screens that employers are requesting are the 5-panel and the 10-panel drug tests.

The 5-Panel Urine Analysis screens candidates and employees for five substances:

  • Amphetamines
  • Phencyclidine
  • Cocaine
  • Opiates
  • Marijuana.


The 10-panel urine analysis includes all the checks in the 5-panel, plus:

  • Barbiturates
  • Benzodiazepines
  • Methadone
  • Methaqualone
  • Propoxyphene
